Our Past.
Dutch's success is rooted in its 60 years of tradition as an accommodating resource for beer and wine in the Hyde Park community. While we have updated our facilities and selection, the spirit of Dutch's customer service and neighborhood involvement lives on.
Our Present.
Jay and Pam Ashmore are the third owners of Dutch's since the founding family sold the business in the late 80's. Jay is a student of London's Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET). He is currently working from his Advanced Certificate towards his Diploma. We are committed to supporting small production, hand-crafted products that represent extraordinary quality and prices that are affordable enough to be an everyday luxury. Most of our wines are priced under $20 a bottle and all of are prices are at state minimum levels. Our goal is to earn and keep your business by providing you with a convenient location to buy product you love and trust. Every wine is hand selected and evaluated before we commit to adding it to our collection.
