As most of you have noticed, Dutch’s is going through many exciting changes. We continue to improve our business so we can achieve our goal of being one of Cincinnati’s best places to enjoy and learn about artisanal beer and wine.
In addition to the changes you have seen, there have also been developments behind the scenes. Jay Ashmore is excited to announce that Stone Brewing Co. has asked him to be their next Midwestern Regional Brewery Representative and he has enthusiastically accepted the offer. There are very few opportunities Jay would consider leaving Dutch’s for, this is one of them. Jay truly believes that Stone is a preeminent leader in the global craft beer renaissance, and he feels privileged to be a part of that.
Because of this new position, Jay will cease owning and operating Dutch’s. If there wasn’t complete confidence that Dutch’s will continue on the path that’s been created, Jay never would have considered leaving the business. Gabe Lang has done a tremendous job managing Dutch’s the last several months, and we are all lucky to have him as its new steward. Gabe has the insight to continue working with only the finest distributors, bringing you the best wine values available as well as one of Ohio’s premier beer collections.
Renovation and expansion of our facility is approaching completion and we are excited about the changes you will soon see. We have been very pleased with the strength of our business during this period of limited capacity, and we thank you very much for your continued support. We realize Dutch’s could not exist without the great customers it has.
